So I’d like to share something about me that you didn’t know. I’m always late, literally and figuratively. New great TV shows or websites, I’m always the last to check it out. I just joined Twitter a year ago, got my first laptop in 2010, and never, ever go on YouTube.
Until this week…and I’m now obsessed.
I’ve been watching makeup and beauty reviews all week. It began with trying to find something to help my oily skin (which I did!) and now I’ve learned so many things that I can’t wait to try out! And since sharing is caring, here are my favorite beauty channels and videos. Enjoy!
Emily is AWESOME! She’s very knowledgeable and truthful in her reviews, and very budget-conscious.
I like Nicole alot. She’s very cute and has a great personality, also very knowledgeable and has a funky style.
I’ve only watched a few videos, but so far so good. Cassandra has a sweet personality and finds great deals.

Milk of Magnesia for oily skin!
I couldn’t believe it!! I was about to purchase an HD powder from Makeup Forever that was like…$40 dollars or something insane like that!! I have MOM sitting in my medicine cabinet, so of course I tried it, and loved it! Kept me oil free…ALL.DAY.LONG! Amazing!
Speaking of expensive Makeup Forever powder, Coastal Scents has the exact same powder (3 times the size by the way) for $4! Already ordered it, got it last week. Amazing stuff, keeps me shine free all day and keeps my makeup staying put for much longer.
(If you haven’t figured it out by now, I have an oil slick on my face!!)
Monistat chafing gel as a primer
Holy…crap! This is the funk primer! See Nicole’s review (at the :50 second mark) I started it the same day I started the Milk of Magnesia, and let me say, it is SO smooth and silky! Your makeup will stay put, I promise you!
Ok I could do this all night! You get the picture, I’m loving all this knowledge, especially at a bargain! There are exclamation points all over the place, I’m so thrilled!
